Gatwick Airport Strike
Unite union workers working at Gatwick Airport are being balloted for industrial action. Workers being balloted firemen, engineers and security workers. Ballots are due in 13 April, 2018

Gatwick shuttle/bus drivers offered 0% pay raise for the last three years by Omni Serve.
Balloting workers for strike action starts today and ends 6 February, 2018.

December 17, 2016 Unite union members who are baggage handlers and check-in staff who work for Swissport will strike on Friday and Saturday December 23rd and 24th.
The Swissport company does baggage handling and check-in services at these airports:-Aberdeen, Belfast City and International, Birmingham, Bristol, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Doncaster, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Leeds/Bradford, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, Southampton and Stansted Airport.

All airlines and airports will have a contingency plan in place.
Less busy the airport less likely for disruptions as contingency plan works. More negotiations to take place on Tuesday.
